About us

For the most parts Boom eSports was brought to life spontaneously – the roots of the organization date back to early 2013 when three college classmates started casting League of Legends for fun. Back in those days the organization was called Couch Casters, which pretty quickly grew into something bigger and needed rebranding – two of those founding fathers of Couch Casters founded BoomCast year later from the initial start of Couch Casters. BoomCast quickly grew into a brand and received huge amount of positive feedback from the gaming community.

A year later an opportunity arose from the ashes and presented BoomCasters with a CS:GO lineup – hence the addition of Boom eSports which in the beginning of 2015 was only consisting of one team and two managers. Boom eSports first lineup ever was successful in a way. The team placed 3rd on the Baltic major CS:GO tournament GameON.
Shortly after the tournament the team decided to disband and the managers and casters of Boom eSports decided to take a time-out from competitive gaming and casting scene for a while.

2016 marks the year when Boom eSports has returned to the scene – bigger, better and more motivated than ever. With additional staffing and variety of teams in different games we aim to be one of the best eSports teams in the world.
Our goals are to popularize eSports in the world, but first and foremost in Estonia and in the Baltics and to give young local gamers a chance to prove themselves in the global eSports arena!

Boom eSports has now grown big and decisive organization which is a part of Boom Media Group.
Boom Media Group runs and manages its brands which include Boom eSports, BoomCast, BoomTV and GGNews.
Boom eSports is always expanding and looking for new players in addition to new employees who could take Boom to the next level.
With start-up minded folks working side by side in developing the first ever Estonian owned eSports organization and now only the sky is the limit!
